Italian cars are not the only offenders.

While I was on vacation, Meow was at the dealer getting 80% of all of its interior buttons and switches replaced under warranty.

The new parts are of a harder finish which doesn’t feel as fancy, but will not melt and stick.

If it’s any consolation, the cheapy plastic buttons on my base model Hyundai Accent aren’t getting all sticky! :P

Then again, your XJ MAY have a bit more luxury than my car...

Did you do the stickies on the 355? I’m planning on taking care of mine as my winter project this year (and ripping out all the 90's Hi-Fi weighing my car down). I got the price-sheet from Dave and decided I might attempt a DIY first haha

I did, but not through the common channels. My leather dashboard was peeling, so I had the whole thing reupholstered and the sticky plastics redone along with it. All at my local specialist.

My car is literally all done, cosmetically.

Something told me that a sticking hazard light button is probably not a good thing.

Oh nice! I’m guessing all of my interior will need to be ripped out to cleanly get rid of the banging system the original owner installed. I figured that would be he best time to send off parts, if I needed
